March 1 - YMCA Home and Garden Show - Rain Gardens

The clean up of Hurley Creek / McKinley Lake scheduled for Saturday, April 12, 2008 has been postponed to Saturday, May 10, 2008.

Those wanting to help are to meet at 9:00 AM in the parking lot of the pool.

April 17th - the Extension Office will give a presentation on plant selection for Rain Gardens. Those who wish to join us will be visiting the sites of residents that are interested in having a rain garden demonstration plot.  Eldon will then do a public program on April 28 to detail the site size details with focus on the demo gardens as examples.  Everyone is invited.
